IRVINE, California, October 28, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a premier Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Kevin Casto as Vice President of Operations with Golden State Foods in Irvine, California.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Jeff Black, Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Mr. Casto is an 18-year Operations leader with experience in manufacturing and distribution in the Food and Automotive industries. Prior to joining Golden State Foods, he served as Senior Director of Salt Lake City Operations for Nellson Nutraceutical. Before Nellson, Mr. Casto joined the Campbell Soup Company in 2004 where he served for one year as a Process Reliability Leader with extensive exposure to Campbell’s liquid products manufacturing process. He then joined a Campbell’s subsidiary, Pepperidge Farms, Inc., where he led for four years as a Plant Manager.
Mr. Casto obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the US Naval Academy. He later received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
