PLEASANTON, California, January 12, 2009 – McDermott & Bull, a retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Jim Commiskey as Vice President of Business Development—Automotive for Pacer International, Inc.’s Pacer Stacktrain Unit. Pacer International, Inc. is headquartered in Concord, CA and Commiskey will be working in the firm’s Chicago, IL office. Commiskey is responsible for sales and coordinating the marketing effort for Pacer’s wholesale automotive product. He will report directly to Adriene Bailey, President of Pacer Stacktrain.

Prior to joining Pacer, Commiskey was Senior Vice President of Avnet Logistics, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, and services development. He has held a series of progressively senior positions in the logistics industry, including Vice President of Business Development at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Menlo Worldwide, Vector SCM, and Emery Worldwide respectively.
