Prior to joining Clipper, Mr. De Leon spent the last 15 years working for Siemens and Westinghouse Electric. At Siemens, Mr. De Leon was most recently the Vice President of Marketing & Operations for Siemens Energy in Orlando, Florida, where he delivered a significant increase in sales by championing process redesigns and process optimization. As the Regional Vice President of Siemens South America, he grew annual sales from $20MM to $150MM, making the group one of the most profitable in South America. At Westinghouse Electric, Mr. De Leon directed nuclear projects in engineering, manufacturing, supply management, and field operations to ensure all contract deliverables were supplied on time and at or under budget.
Mr. De Leon earned his MBA in International Finance at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He also obtained his Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Clipper, Mr. Willey spent nearly 32 years working for two major corporations: General Electric Company and United Technologies Corporation (UTC). During Mr. Willey’s career at General Electric, he held a number of increasingly senior positions in Large Steam Turbine & Generator, Power Generation Technology, and the past 7 years in Wind Energy. Some of his major leadership contributions included advanced aerodynamics development that significantly improved the industry standard efficiency for large steam turbines and the successful acquisition and integration of the former Enron Renewable Energy wind business into one of most successful new General Electric businesses ever. While at the Pratt and Whitney division of United Technologies, Mr. Willey led teams that established the Fluid Component Integration Laboratory and supported the development of the V2500 – one of the first major aircraft gas turbine engine collaborations in the industry.
Mr. Willey earned his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut, and his Associate in Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.
