IRVINE, California, July 5, 2018 – McDermott & Bull is pleased to announce the successful appointment of Blendi Kokona as Director of Finance & Administration with ESI, a leading producer of ergonomic work tools that enhance productivity and wellness.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Chris Bull, Managing Partner; Rob Gross, Principal Consultant; and Quyen Doan, Recruiting Associate at McDermott & Bull. Kokona began his career with Payless before joining Rayonier, where he was part of their FP&A function, and then PetSmart, managing the supply chain P&L, distribution, transport, and inventory. In 2011, he transitioned to leading FP&A and administration operations within the education sector. At Apollo Education Group, Kokona led the finance and analysis function for five University of Phoenix colleges – totaling over $500M in revenue. Most recently, he served as the Director of Finance & Administration with Arizona State University, where he managed the contracts with third-party providers, as well as the sub-leases to students.
Kokona received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Washburn University.
