IRVINE, California, December 3, 2018 – McDermott & Bull Interim Leaders (MBIL) is pleased to announce the successful appointment of an interim Project Management Officer with a billion-dollar national insurance company.
This interim leader search was led by Rebecca Miller, Senior Managing Director. The company’s IT department saw an opportunity to improve their project time management and rate of completion enterprise-wide. The project required a PMO with experience managing teams with hundreds of open projects, evaluating and improving processes, mentoring and training, and a successful track record of increasing project close rates.
The interim leader selected has over twenty years of experience as a Project Manager with expertise in team building, improving, developing and implementing processes, and aligning the PMO function with strategic initiatives. He is partnered closely with the department heads throughout the company and is working with them to achieve alignment between the project management office and the rest of the organization.
