IRVINE, California, September 27, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced the successful appointment of Mr. Sid Kalantar as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Accuride International based in Santa Fe Springs, California.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Rod McDermott, Managing Partner, and Jeff Black, Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Mr. Kalantar is as 25-year sales and marketing executive with established success driving sales and marketing teams in automation and electronic component industry. Prior to joining Accuride International, he served as the Vice President Sales Americas & Global EMS for Bourns, Inc., where he led global and domestic sales specializing in the automotive, industrial, medical and telecom markets. Before joining Bourns, Mr. Kalantar was the Vice President of Sales and Service at Mitsubishi Electric Automation from 2004 to 2010.
Mr. Kalantar obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. He is also a board member for the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA).
