IRVINE, California, March 21, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Long Tran as Vice President of Strategy & Marketing Development with a division of First American Corporation in Santa Ana, California.

Mr. Tran has over 15 years of experience in the information services and technology industries. Over the course of his career, Mr. Tran has developed go-to-market strategies for both B2B and B2C product offerings. He has experience effectively educating senior management of the business plan and requirements for success, experience in B2C strategic planning and experience creating business cases for new product concepts. Prior to joining First American, Mr. Tran served as Director of Strategic Alliances for Experian Information Solutions.
Mr. Tran obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, followed by his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
