IRVINE, California, May 17, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced the successful appointment of Ms. Shannon Gutierrez as Regional Vice President with Silverado Senior Living based in Irvine, California.

Ms. Gutierrez has been in the senior living industry for 23 years. She began her career as a Unit Director at Americana Healthcare Center and was previously the Executive Director of Lexington Square of Elmhurst. Ms. Gutierrez has also increased customer satisfaction and her team member’s satisfaction by initiating complete culture changes throughout her communities.
Ms. Gutierrez earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Illinois in 1992. She became an Illinois Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2003, and is an active member of the LSN Assisted Living Cabinet.
