Prior to joining CareMeridian, Mortensen was the Senior Vice President of Finance at Sun Mar Healthcare, where he developed, implemented, and was responsible for activities ranging from finance, IT, and risk management to legal, human resources, and sales models. In addition, Mortensen was the co-founder of e-rehab Inc. and has been a senior-level executive in various healthcare companies including Salus Healthcare LLC, Regency Health Services Inc., and Quantum Health Resources Inc.
Mortensen received both his Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
