IRVINE, LOS ANGELES, WESTLAKE VILLAGE, and PLEASANTON, CA, August 2, 2010 – McDermott & Bull Executive Search, a California-based retained executive search firm, is pleased to announce the opening of its office in Century City, California, and that it has named Ms. Meiko Takayama to the position of Principal Consultant. Ms. Takayama will be responsible for opening the firm’s Century City office and continuing to build McDermott & Bull’s practice in Los Angeles and throughout California.

Prior to joining McDermott & Bull, Ms. Takayama was the Managing Director at the Corporate Executive Board where she was the leader in the IT Practice, responsible for launching the CIO Executive Board and similar membership groups on behalf of senior IT leaders. In addition, she has worked with CFOs, General Counsels, and heads of HR, Sales & Marketing, and Procurement from the Fortune 1000 across her 11 year tenure at the company. Ms. Takayama has also been a leading fundraising executive and has worked at the Museum of Modern Art and Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Ms. Takayama earned her Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
