IRVINE, California, May 10, 2012 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Robert Webber as Executive Vice President of Operations and Performance Excellence with the Santa Catalina Island Company in Avalon, California.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Jeff Black, Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Mr. Webber is a 25-year experienced executive including the past 13 years in executive operations roles in a variety of industries and business lines. Before joining Santa Catalina Island Company, he served as EVP/CFO for a privately-held software developer for the airline industry, Zapways, Inc. and had previously served as CFO, COO and CEO for Maui Land & Pineapple Company overseeing the operations of the Kapalua Resort in Maui, Hawaii.
Mr. Webber obtained his law degree from Columbia University School of Law following his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University. After spending five years as a law clerk and practicing attorney, he pursued his MBA at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
