IRVINE, California, January 18, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Guy Marsala as Chief Administrative Officer with American Career College based in Irvine, California.

Mr. Marsala has over 30 years of experience as an executive of administrative services, particularly in the career education industry. He has extensive experience having direct responsibility for financial planning and analysis, operations, marketing, information technology, public relations, human resources, compliance, and risk management. Prior to joining American Career College, Mr. Marsala served as President, CEO, and Board Member of EZ Lube, LLC, which was strategically sold in 2012. He also served as the President and COO of Corinthian Colleges, where he organized a shared service function to support 46 career education colleges and a corporate training business.
Mr. Marsala obtained his Bachelors of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and later earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and was awarded two Army Commendation Medals.
