IRVINE, California, January 18, 2013 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Jonathan Hoopes as Director of Purchasing with Posey Company in Arcadia, California.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Craig Lipus, Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Mr. Hoopes has over 10 years of purchasing and supply chain experience in regulated environments, including negotiating contracts, working with vendors, purchasing raw materials, and working in China and France. Prior to joining Posey, he served as Supply Chain Manager at Parker Hannifin, where he was responsible for qualifying all suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring performance and quality cost improvements, and resolving contract disputes.
Mr. Hoopes obtained his Bachelors of Science in Science and Supply Chain Management from the University of Arizona, followed by his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
