IRVINE, California, August 26, 2011 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Ms. Carrie Weldon as Vice President of Human Resources at Santa Catalina Island Company in Avalon, California.

Before joining Santa Catalina Island Company, Ms. Weldon was Director of Human Resources at Reliance Steel & Aluminum, a metals service center company in Los Angeles, California. Prior to Reliance Steel & Aluminum, Ms. Weldon servied as a Human Resources Team Member with the Walt Disney Company, based in Anaheim, California.
Ms. Weldon earned her Bachelor of Administration Degree in Psychology from California State University Los Angeles and her Masters of Business Administration in Business Management from Claremont Graduate University.
