IRVINE, California, May 21, 2018 – McDermott & Bull has been retained by Prolacta Bioscience, Inc., a leading human milk-based neonatal nutritional products company, to lead their search for a Vice President, Corporate Controller for its headquarters in Duarte, California.
This executive recruiting engagement is being conducted by Jake Vander Zanden, Principal Consultant, Life Sciences Practice Group; Bill Brewer, Principal Consultant; and Justin Green, Recruiting Associate at McDermott & Bull.
The Vice President, Corporate Controller will drive all aspects of financial functions for the company and will operate as the “right-hand” to the CFO. This key executive will play a significant role to the company’s leadership team with decision support, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting, expense control, internal controls, treasury/foreign currencies, taxation, compliance, and cost accounting. This individual will also provide the vision and leadership for the accounting and finance functions, including setting and stewarding the team culture and creating career growth and development opportunities for key staff and management. They will also oversee the development of risk assessments and reporting of internal controls across the enterprise.
