McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Kevin Powell as the Chief Executive Officer for United Aqua Group where he will work closely with the Chairman and day-to-day staff in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kevin will help refine the organization’s mission and guide the enthusiasm of staff to nurture a passion for pools among a broad market segment ranging from residential and commercial pool builders to trusted pool supply retailers.
Kevin has over 30 years of wholesale distribution industry experience and 20 years in leadership. With his most recent role as President and Chief Operations Officer of Summit Electric Supply, he oversaw the sales, marketing, operations, recruiting, and training divisions for the business. Kevin has been involved with buying groups as a member, board member, and on planning committees for 20 years. He currently serves on the board of the National Association of Electrical Distributor’s Executive Strategy Committee where he is in charge of creating the organization’s strategic plan.
