McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Erik Tarkiainen as President at Radio Design Labs. As President, Erik will have direct reports in Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Sales, and he will work to further the company’s strong growth throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. He will continue to foster company culture, prioritizing product innovation and quality, excellent customer service, and employee satisfaction. Erik Tarkiainen most recently served as the Executive Vice President of FKA Brands and Chief Executive Officer + General Manager of House of Marley. He also has previous professional experience at HARMAN, Lynda.com, and Line 6. Erik earned an MBA in marketing at Boston University and a B.S. in electrical engineering with a minor in electronic music at Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor of marketing at California State University and co-authored a U.S. patent, “Generic run-time engine for interfacing between applications and speech engines.” Headquartered in Prescott, Arizona, Radio Design Labs (RDL) is a manufacturer of electronic audio, video, and control products. Its products are distributed worldwide for use in commercial audio and video installations as well as broadcast and recording facilities. The company is known as the pioneer of application-specific electronic modules. RDL produces modules in several trademarked product series including STICK-ON, RACK-UP, and FLAT-PAK.
