McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Chris Haughn as Vice President of Investment Banking at Capital West Partners. Chris will play a highly prominent, client-facing role and will work closely with the senior partners to flawlessly execute transactions and further build the reputation of Capital West Partners as Western Canada’s leader in M&A advisory.
Prior to joining Capital West Partners, Chris spent four years with JP Morgan’s Investment Banking Practice in Calgary, AB, where he was directly involved in successfully executing over $10 billion in M&A and strategic financing mandates in infrastructure, power and utilities, and energy. Additionally, Chris has four years of experience working with National Bank’s equity research team in Calgary, covering public and private companies within the energy space. He has a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy, an MBA from the University of Calgary, and is a CFA.
