Volunteer New York! is midway through an ambitious five-year strategic plan designed to deepen its community impact and expand regional influence. The Executive Director will lead the organization through the successful execution of this plan while shaping the blueprint for its next chapter of growth and innovation.
As the chief ambassador, advocate, and fundraiser, the Executive Director will build and strengthen high-impact partnerships across the nonprofit, corporate, civic, and philanthropic sectors. At the same time, this leader will ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sound fiscal stewardship — positioning the organization for sustainable success.
With responsibility for driving mission execution, organizational development, and financial vitality, the Executive Director will champion initiatives to elevate brand visibility, implement a diversified fundraising strategy, enhance internal systems, and foster strong governance in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
